Julia Longoria has over 10 years of experience in narrative audio journalism. She began as a reporter in public radio newsrooms and has worked producing and editing stories for some of the most highly acclaimed and listened-to narrative podcasts from NPR, The New York Times, The Atlantic Magazine, and WNYC Studios. She loves to report and write her own stories almost as much as she loves to be a doula for the stories of others. She has also taught the craft of audio journalism at Berkeley and has performed stories, moderated panels, and given talks at events with Radio Ambulante, On Air Fest, and others.
